Canción gótica | 2017

El universo de Carmen Verde Arocha en este poemario envuelve al lector en la jugosidad de lo femenino. Cuarenta poemas conforman Canción gótica que la reconocida poeta venezolana Carmen Verde entrega a los lectores. En sus versos, el amor se anuncia como una premonición.

Lo gótico en esta obra, según Gisela Cappellin, editora del libro, se refiere a la acepción de lo noble al representar una ornamentación escogida y a la vez abundante. También la designación de gótico, otorgada a lo misterioso y oscuro, podría interpretarse en algunos aspectos de este trabajo, en los que se encuentra un componente mágico o sobrenatural, donde la vida aislada y solitaria da paso a la forma del amor creada por la autora.

Con este libro de cuidada factura, Gisela Cappellin continúa su selecta labor editorial. Canción gótica Fue diseñado por Aixa Díaz, la corrección estuvo a cargo de Alejandro Sebastiani Verlezza y fue impreso bajo la supervisión del maestro Gustavo Suárez.
